It is our prayer that your encounter with Blaise is an uplifting experience that helps you find strength and hope for life’s journey. Really, that is what Blaise is all about, offering hope. Through acts of service, nurturing fellowship, corporate worship, clear and relevant teaching and preaching, Blaise seeks to lead people into a personal, dynamic and hopeful relationship with Jesus Christ.
Blaise is blessed with a host of servant-hearted people that find joy in serving others and giving of their resources to help others find real hope in Jesus Christ. If you are a believer, then it is our prayer that you will sense a kindred spirit at Blaise. If you have not yet come to faith in Christ, it is our prayer that you will see and sense something at Blaise that is authentic and refreshing. We are not perfect but we are a community of people that seek to be more like Jesus Christ as we journey through the trials and struggles of this life together. Christians and Movies with Biblical Themes or Principles:

In the last few years, there have been several movies that have been targeted for Christian audiences (like The Passion of Christ, Luther, End of the Spear, Facing the Giants, etc.) Yet, with some of these, Hollywood actors who live openly immoral lives are cast to play key roles. For example, the man who portrayed Nate Saint, the great missionary in End of the Spear, was cast by an openly homosexual activist by the name of Chad Allen. Another example is a movie to be released in theaters soon called "The Nativity." It seems like a great film to be released right before Christmas. Yet, the actor playing Mary is 16 years old is pregnant. She is not married and has been dating a young man that is 19 for three years. Her parents are reported elated by the news.
The question for debate is this:
Do we as Christians support movies that depict Biblical stories and principles, even if they are actors/producers/directors live openly immoral lifestyles?
